Invader Zim Bowling Ball

happens sometimes ...

Thanksgiving ... How important! See small things, so well known that we are "natural", and yet are those that make our lives worthwhile.
That is the spirit of this quilt, which was sewn blocks throughout 2010 and in January I could finish this quiet ... These days I sewed, cut, ironed, and I got the "top". We need another smooth edge and is ready for quilting.

I had seen and liked me a lot, so when I learned that Liliana had organized a SALT I signed up immediately .¡¡¡¡ Thanks Lily!!
Telitas is done with non-patchwork, some are remnants of seams that I made with my grandmother Huri, other remains of clothes that she sewed me or my kids, almost all from which I can say .. . The blocks are applied to canvas dyed with tea, my idea was to stay different shades, but except for two more clearly, others are the same!!
central block I did it using a fabric that I found here, and that looks "a little" to those so beautiful that I see on the blogs of the girls in Europe or the United States, now that I'm learning to be called "tone on tone."

I made a "tuneadito", taking a block of the original model and changing it to "Music and books" which, of course, could not be absent in my personal thanks!!

The "roads that lead home" were snow and bare trees, but I adapted to my Santa Fe plain, green and wooded!!

I'm happy with the outcome, it will be for Camila wants to hang in your bedroom. When you have finished the whole is the show, but I wanted to share my joy. This is one of those little things that make you look up, says Ismael. So, come (as he says and my English friends), share "It happens sometimes" and give thanks to God and life for all the blessings we have!!

And you??? What you goose bumps and I rescued from the wreck?
Besos!
PS: The photos are unwell, do not know what is happening to my camera!
